Everybody has been bugging Steve for a long time to play some hard core southern style outlaw blues, country and rock. Well here it is. He's giving you what you asked for, beer drinking, ass kickin', guitar pickin' in a stlye only he can do. So now you have no excuse to get your butt out and be unpolitically correct in the fashion of Dave Coe, Merle Haggard, Hank Jr., etc!

Be there on time or you'll miss the sermon. Get a front row pew!
Thank you very much, Steve.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for coming out to our shows we've been playing currently. As always we appreciate your support. It occurs to me lately, the heavier we play, the more you like it. So we're in the process of adding more metal to our show. Done the blues style that effects all my music.

Just played at The Midtown Tavern in Harrisburg and had a great time and Sam the owner is a very cool guy. We want to thank all the fans that came out to the William Penn Hotel in Lebanon. Please keep hitting our website and tell your friends to hit our site too. We're going to be putting live video on the site soon. So that way instead of sitting home and watching America has talent, you can waste your time watching some local talent. As our music is not to be judged by some half assed society or such (George Bressler is my idol).

Fretwork featuring Steve Creter

Fretwork

Check Show Dates on this site.

The new material is mostly original and a fusion blend of all the styles of music he has played over the years. It’s a blend of smooth Santana like sound with the ripping riffs of a bluesman to produce an unbelievable live guitar sound. He’s a must see for all up and coming guitarists. His fans are mostly guitar disciples. Steve says his students are the best and are a great support to his music career, with out you guys it just would not be fun. If any one needs lessons, the styles he teaches are rock, blues, metal and country. He has played in bands that played all these styles. For lessons email him at this site. We hope to see you at our shows. Come out and have fun and hear some good jamming.

Back together again! Guitar virtuoso Steve Creter and his old friend John Christopher have decided to collaborate again along with the help of another mutual friend Jeff Shoop, and the collaboration has resulted in the group “Fretwork”, featuring Steve Creter.

Fretwork will be performing an eclectic fusion of many styles of tasteful music. Aiming to get away from the “in your face” style of music, this project is a more laid back, feel good type of music featuring Steve’s outstanding guitar playing. In some people’s eyes it would be called a form of Jazz. You may call it what you want but it is something for everyone to enjoy without getting blasted off your seat.

Hershey, PA -- Steve Creter has been playing for 44 years playing rock, blues, jazz, bluegrass and many other styles of music. Currently Steve is teaching at his studios in Palmyra and Middletown and also teaches at Marty's Music in Annville and at Lebanon Valley College. His band Fretwork is performing in the Central Pennsylvania area.
